Roll of Honour

The roll of honour is a list of officers who have died in the execution of their duties or in connection with their duties, regardless of the means. It pays tribute to those officers and commemorates the sacrifice of those who fell protecting and service the public.

Below is a list of officers from all Lanarkshire forces and from Strathclyde Police. If any are missing please contact us to let us know.

Supt. Neil McCover (55) Died in collision with car whilst cycling during his lunch break from Force Training & Recruitment Centre. 08/10/2010
PC Neil Jeffrys (49) Died of injuries sustained on 16/08/2002 in road traffic collision at Loch Lomond. RTC also resulted in death of PC Jim Clarke. Jeffrys remained in hospital with head injuries until death. 20/07/1976
